I don’t know what else there is to say about Carrie Bradshaw that hasn’t already been said – her sense of fashion was THE main reason I watched Sex and the City. I was always so excited to see what she was going to wear and then fascinated with how she styled her outfits. She was able to mix designer pieces with vintage and thrift store finds, sometimes adding a little kitch in. Whether I loved her outfit or thought it was weird or crazy, I was memorized – she was fashion candy. I don’t think Carrie can take all the credit though (considering she’s not a real person). Patricia Field, the costume designer for the show, truly created this style icon and I consider her a true genius. I have always and will always think of Carrie Bradshaw as one of my ultimate favorite style icons. She inspires me to try new things, be creative and be fearless. After all, fashion and style should be FUN… that’s the main reason I love it so much. Here are some of my favorite Carrie Bradshaw looks:
