Sometimes things happen and we don’t know why. We can’t understand why.
What we know is that tragedy struck Boston and those travelling from all over the country and the world, to see what was supposed to be joyous and triumphant day for those running the Marathon – those running for charity, for a cause, for a win, to showcase months of practice, strength and hard work.
President Obama said that Boston is a “tough and resilient town. So are it’s people“. This is true. Boston and its wonderful people did in fact show its strength and hard work, and continue to as we try to move forward. To those first responders, police, EMT’s, nurses, doctors, volunteers, spectators, runners who ran to help those fallen and ran to MGH to give blood, we are forever grateful for your bravery, selflessness, service and heroic actions.
My love, thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the bombings.
